Wavell Tour

Wavell is a source of motivation both on the bike and in everyday life.

Alexander Skovbo is 20 years old and studies at Copenhagen Business School. His days are busy, and cycling has become an essential break from his studies.

For Alexander Skovbo, there are few things better than the feeling of cycling through the woods. Leaving everyday life behind and replacing it with fresh air and the forest, far from the noise of downtown. Unwinding and just being himself.

Alexander takes these rides a couple of times a week, and every time he brings along his companion—his wireless earbuds from Wavell. They provide company and entertainment as he covers the many kilometers. It’s a motivational factor that’s hard to do without.

Wavell has a design that’s perfect for cycling, as the earbuds are incredibly flat, don’t stick out of your ears, and stay securely in place. This means they don’t get caught on your helmet straps or feel like they’re shifting around when you’re riding fast. So Wavell is a great companion when you’re training alone.

For both fun and serious training

Even though Although he doesn’t have time for more than a couple of times a week, Alexander has been very dedicated to cycling. He started out many years ago riding a mountain bike, but his interest in cycling broadened, which led him to triathlon.

With triathlons came more competitions and a focus on performing as well as possible. During that time, Alexander tried out many different pairs of earbuds, but also faced quite a few challenges. They were too big, they fell out, and they were generally impractical. That’s why it was such a relief when Alexander discovered Wavells:

It’s no longer necessary to tape the earbuds in place— Wavells stay put!

Perfect noise reduction

When Alexander heads out on a 3-hour run in the rain, his motivation can take a dip. Here, Wavells are once again an indispensable aid—they help push him up those final hills with some great music.

One of the features Alexander particularly highlights about the Wavells is their noise reduction. An important tool for blocking out the outside world. He believes they offer perfect noise reduction. They block out most of the noise, but you can still hear traffic when you’re out on long bike rides.

Not Just for Cycling

“Once you have a pair of Wavell’s, it’s clear you won’t just use them on your bike.” That’s how Alexander Skovbo describes his Wavell’s. He uses them frequently, both when he’s doing other kinds of exercise and for listening to a good podcast in the morning or music while cooking. They go a long way toward making everyday chores more fun.
