Our History
BUILT ON A LOVE OF GREAT SOUND
In 2019, we launched our first earbuds, and ever since, we’ve been deeply committed to constantly improving, offering the latest features, and delivering the best audio experience—whether you’re listening to music, podcasts, or watching movies.
Product Development
With the launch of our second-generation earbuds, the Wavell Two, we took the next major step in product development. This new launch was the result of feedback, testing, and our ambition to deliver even better sound.
FROM THE BASEMENT TO THE OFFICE
We moved out of the basement, where it all began, and into our first office in 2021. At the same time, we expanded our product line with our first speaker, the Sound Master Pro, and made our mark as an ambitious audio company.
The Lion's Den
In 2022, we made our debut in Danish living rooms during prime time on *Løvens Hule*. There, we were joined on our journey by Jan Lehrmann and Christian Arnstedt. They helped us transform from young guys into real entrepreneurs, and the entire process helped accelerate our journey toward delivering better sound. After a year, our paths parted, but we still use many of the perspectives and principles they shared with us to make decisions today.
New Showroom
2023 was the year we were finally able to open the doors to our showroom in Aarhus and give our online world a physical dimension. The opening of the showroom was a milestone we’d been dreaming of for a long time, and since then we’ve been inviting people inside to hear, feel, and experience our sound.
LAUNCH OF OUR BESTSELLER: WAVELL 3 PRO
We completed our bachelor’s degrees in 2024 and were finally able to devote ourselves full-time to our dream of delivering amazing audio experiences at Wavell. At the same time, we launched our best-selling headphones to date: the Wavell 3 Pro. Since then, we haven’t looked back, and we’re deeply committed to continuing to evolve and delivering high-quality sound at the best price.
OUR NEXT CHAPTER
In 2025, we’ll be expanding beyond Denmark’s borders for the first time, and this is also the year when we’ll be placing an even greater focus on what it’s all about: the community built around great sound. For us, the audio experiences we share are just as important as those we enjoy on our own. Our mission today is the same as it has always been: to deliver amazing audio experiences at a price that makes sense.
We look forward to giving you The Wavell Audio Experience!

Sound isn’t just sound; it’s an experience that amplifies every note and emotion. We fine-tune all our products to achieve sound with precision, clarity, and depth. Our products are manufactured globally, while our team in Denmark fine-tunes the sound profile to perfection. We’re a young team building on Denmark’s proud audio tradition—a combination of experience and innovation that gives us the perfect foundation for creating sound you can feel.
Good sound is subjective. It depends on personal preferences, musical taste, and the feeling the sound evokes in you. For us, good sound is about balance, clarity, and dynamics—so that all instruments and vocals stand out clearly, and the music feels alive and present. Sound should have depth and precision, but also spaciousness and naturalness, so that it sounds as if the music is happening right there in the room. Sound shouldn’t just be heard—it should be felt.
That's why we always offer a 30-day full satisfaction guarantee. Because we know that sound has to be experienced—and only then can you tell if it feels right.
