Wavell Loves New Music

With roots in music and a vision to bring great sound to all Danes, it’s only natural for us to keep an eye on the Danish music scene.

We present:

William Quist.

William Quist released his debut single “Sidste Farvel” today, which is now available on all streaming services. To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with him. William Quist is a young rapper from Aarhus with a melancholic vibe and some killer choruses. At Wavell, we believe William Quist will be one of the new up-and-coming Danish artists in 2021.

"Sidste Farvel"

“Sidste Farvel” was written in collaboration with the young singer “Bex.” Her contribution helps give the single the depth that Danish hip-hop needs. The single was created during a lockdown, when feelings of loneliness and emotional distance from others can feel even more depressing than they already are. “Sidste Farvel” gives the listener the opportunity to dive into William Quist’s exciting, captivating, yet melancholic soundscape.

William Quist was previously the frontman for the duo “Tempelridderne,” which has over 150,000 plays on Spotify. The time has now come for William Quist to unveil his new project, which reflects greater maturity, seriousness, and professionalism. One recurring element is William Quist’s talent for writing choruses that linger in the subconscious for up to several days afterward.

"You really feel the music's presence"

Hand in hand with his musical talent, William Quist naturally cares about great sound in his everyday life. Here, he uses his Wavell Black Edition. The Black Edition is perfect for giving William Quist a space of his own, whether he’s at home or out on the town. That’s because Wavells provide the necessary noise cancellation in an urban environment. When asked what he likes about Wavell, William Quist says:

“First of all, I think they fit really well in my ears, and I’m impressed by how good the sound is for the price. The deep bass works well across many genres, and you really feel like the music is right there with you. It’s a sleek and simple design, with a stylish matte black finish that gives the product an extra sense of quality.”
